I LOVE Unique Jewelry

I'm like a lot of women I do love jewelry, however I love unique jewelry.  I love hand made jewelry.  I love jewelry made by true artists.  I love my pieces to be a unique statement of me & my unique tastes.  I'm so lucky that Chris supports me in this.  Chris has bought me some beautiful pieces.  I have a necklace that Chris bought me at the Scottish Highland Games one summer, made by a potter.  I have a necklace that's very VERY special to me that Chris' cousin Kristine a very talented photographer & artist (from Vancouver) made me it's a silver choker with two needle felted balls that she gave me on my birthday.  Chris has another cousin that lives in Winnipeg her name is Hillary Druxman she's a wonderful jewelry designer & when Chris came home Monday he showed up at my place with a t-shrit for Jeremy & this BEAUTIFUL bracelet for me that his cousin Hillary has designed.  I love it.  This pic doesn't do it justice I just found it awkward to get a decent pic of it while wearing it.
Thank you Chris I love my gift.

So Exicited

So I've been thinking about Christmas gifts early this year.  Early for me anyways.  I know people that have all the Christmas shopping, or Christmas crafting done in the summer.  Anyways I had this great idea for part of Jeremy's gift a fantasy portrait of himself done.  I decided to use Nikkij here is her site Artist Nikkji.  I really like her style.  She does lots of protraits for Bellydancers....lol....however I'm sure Jeremy won't look like a Bellydancer.  He's going to be a Sorcerer with glowing magic red balls & hopefully a dragon in there too.  I can't wait to see the first sketches.  I think so far I've sent her close to 20 pictures...lol.

Hands ~ Art Photo

Oh my goodness.  At times it can be challenging blogging with an older computer ~sigh,~ but after a little patience & trying different things I FINALLY got this pic loaded.  For some reason blogger wouldn't let me upload directly from my hard drive.  So I put it on Picasa & was able to upload it from there.  ANYWAYS that's my son's & my hands.  The day ended up being to sunny so I only got maybe two useable shots this being one of them.  I did it in sepia tones as I think it looked better than the black & white.

Please tell me what you think.  I'm happy with it.  I would like to do a series of three maybe.
